Total Solar Eclipse of 11 July 2010

This was a wild and successful eclipse chase!  Read the Trip Report, see the photos & video here.

You have to get into that little black dot!!

This is the next major Total Eclipse to come to Earth. It is visible almost entirely from the Pacific Ocean ONLY! It makes landfall on a few, remote islands near Tahiti – and on Easter Island, of all places. Many cruises to see totality have been planned and many are already fully booked. This is an expensive eclipse to chase because of the difficult location. But what is money for? I am booked on a private charter aircraft out of Argentina that will fly into the eclipse at 35,000 feet! We are guaranteed clear skies!  Click here for details.
