TED is a small non-profit organization dedicated to Ideas Worth Spreading. They invite speakers from around the world to give talks on virtually every topic and then make the videos available on the web for all to see. The website features hundreds of inspired talks from the likes of Al Gore and Tony Robbins.
TEDx events are local, independently organized TED events that bring people and ideas together in local communities. The Toronto TEDx Event is Thursday September 10, and I have been asked to give one of the three-minute talks on what I have learned from my eclipse chasing!
