This kind of online tool is incredibly helpful if you are looking to make plans for this eclipse. The simulator is pretty intuitive – works best on a desktop or laptop – and it might just help you avoid making a fatal mistake by setting up in the wrong place. Remember: you must be inside the path of totality – the zone of 100% solar eclipse – or you will miss the big show. A 99% eclipse is nothing! It is 100% or die!!
