2012 was a great year for eclipse chasing. The Annular Eclipse chase to Arizona in May was a complete success, and the Total Eclipse we saw in Queensland, Australia, in November was simply out of this world. I will talk about both of these incredible events and present original film and video that can’t be missed!
Starfest is Canada’s biggest annual star party – featuring talks, presentations and workshops with the pros in amateur astronomy, along with vendors of all kinds, all night deep sky observing, and more amazement per mile than Disneyland! And don’t forget the Perseid Meteor Shower – at it’s best Sun Aug 11 and Mon Aug 12 from dusk to dawn.
