The Total Eclipse of 1991 over Hawaii, Mexico and Central America was considered “The Big One” because the duration of totality was one of the longest of the 20th century. This eclipse is also considered to be the one that launched the modern day phenomenon known as “eclipse chasing” when in fact people have been flocking to see Total Solar Eclipses for centuries. Famous Canadian eclipse photographer Andreas Gada shot this 16mm film from Baja California. It don’t get no betta!!! Sweeeet!!! (No audio).
