This 1986 music video for Gabriel’s beautiful song “Don’t Give Up’ was directed by Godley & Creme, the English pop music duo that began releasing albums together after splitting from the band 10cc. Musically, they were known for their ground-breaking production work. But their greatest success came as the innovative directors of more than 50 music videos in the 1980s. This video is one, long shot – and features Gabriel and Bush in a never-ending embrace as the Moon totally eclipses the Sun behind them.
