STUNNING FOOTAGE OF THE MOON’S SHADOW RACING ACROSS EARTH
Eclipse in China – 01 August 2008. A short film of this expedition was never made, but I have thrown together a few shots of the journey to Hami in the far northwest corner of China because the eclipse sequence is so dramatic I wanted to share it. The clouds that threatened to eclipse the eclipse actually helped us witness the Moon’s shadow sweep across us from from outer space. Very dramatic! Can you spot the lightning on the horizon? It strikes three times during the eclipse.
