Eclipse in China – 01 August 2008. This is only a preview of the complete film which I have not finished yet! But the eclipse sequence is so dramatic I want to share it now. The clouds that threatened to eclipse the eclipse actually provided an ideal platform under which to observe the full motion of the umbra through the sky. Stunning! Can you spot the lightning on the horizon? It strikes three times during the eclipse.
