January 2017  –  Eclipse Eye Safety

Watch the Total Solar Eclipse in August!  But watch it safely!! Never look directly at the sun without certified eye protection!

It is only safe to look at the Total Eclipse during the few brief moments when the Moon blocks the Sun completely.  This is called Totality. It’s the most spectacular sight you have ever seen in your life.  But before and after totality, the Sun will still be partially visible behind the Moon and is dangerous to observe.  You could damage your eyes.  With certified eye protection you can look directly at the sun and safely observe every phase of the eclipse.  Get your eclipse glasses now before they sell out!  You can check out these reliable retailers for eclipse glasses:

Get into this RED PATH through America – August 21, 2017

October 2015

ACT NOW TO SEE A TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE SUN!

For millions upon millions of people – probably you – the eclipse in America on August 21, 2017, will be the best chance to see a Total Eclipse of the Sun in this lifetime. Normally you would have to travel great distances at great expense to see a Total Eclipse, but not this time! If you live in North America, it’s coming straight into your front yard!  If you have ever been curious about Nature’s most spectacular event – this is your chance.  Don’t miss out!

USA Eclipse Path Image 700

Total Solar Eclipse Path through America – August 21, 2017

It will be morning in Oregon and afternoon in South Carolina when the Moon’s shadow sweeps across the Earth turning daytime into night for a few brief minutes.

This eclipse has the potential to become the most-observed eclipse in human history. It’s going to be a huge event!  The country will be brought to a standstill for about two and a half minutes on a gorgeous, sunny August day.  America has not seen an eclipse like this in 99 years, and scientists, the media and the public are already preparing.  Communities along the path of totality will be swamped with eclipse watchers and chasers from around the world – roads and highways will be packed with shadow seekers peering up into the sky – and hotel and restaurant owners will see a day unlike any other!  Not since Armstrong took the first steps on the Moon in 1969 has America experienced such a positive, shared event.  Mark my words:  this eclipse will be the biggest science event of the decade.   And you must act now to be a part of it.

Pick any State along the path of totality that you have always wanted to visit.  Book a hotel, car or spot for your RV – grab your kids, your family, your friends – get a map and a GPS system – and be ready to move into clear skies in any nearby community. There is no excuse to miss this one!
